ABOUT SHALETHA

Shaletha Sanders is one of four children born to Leo and Mattie Jones. She married her high school sweetheart on June 10, 2000, and from this union three children were born, Joel Jr., Josiah, and Madison. Shaletha is the Leading Lady of Faith Empowerment Center, where Bishop Joel Sanders is the pastor. Shaletha is known for encouraging, educating, motivating, and inspiring women to do all that they can to succeed in life.

 

 Shaletha grew up under the teaching of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. She became a believer at age 12. She is a licensed Evangelist. She exercises her gift immensely, while serving with her husband at Faith Empowerment Center.

 

 Shaletha graduated from The Ohio State University earning a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Sociology. She earned her Master's Degree from Walden University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

 

 Shaletha is a philanthropist and is a strong believer of giving back to the community. She and her husband developed the YES (Youth Empowerment Sessions) Group, where youth from the community are empowered to become leaders and role models within society. She has coordinated the following programs at Faith Empowerment Center, and they are as following: Free toy giveaway during Christmas, Free backpacks full of school supplies giveaway, God’s Girls Mentoring Group, Free tutoring through the “No Child Left Behind” program, Y.E.S. (Youth Empowerment Sessions) program, and a women’s empowerment program.

 

Her favorite scripture is “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13
